Mango is Expanding (again)

Hi, it's been a while!
Mango in a Pot is evolving and expanding, as usual. If you’ve been following the studio’s journey so far, you’ll know that I, Sam, have been the sole owner of the studio, which when I opened in 2022, was more than enough man-power to keep this clay-filled initiative moving. Now, 2 and a half years later, the studio has out-grown its single ownership and two new co-owners are jumping aboard. 

The dream team (is that corny?) 

Introducing…. Dasha and Georgia!!! These two ladies have been a vital part of the studio community for quite some time now. Two very dedicated part-time potters and very impressive women all around. The three of us have been brought together by way of America, Greece and Belarus by divine intervention. All of our journeys have led us to cross paths at just the right time in Amsterdam. It was always supposed to happen this way, or at least that’s how it feels. 

This is going to change a lot of things. For starters, you’ll be hearing from us a lot more. I can’t lie, being a small business owner is a tough act to maintain, and I have certainly neglected the communications side of things. This also means there's a lot more room for new initiatives, events and other fun stuff! Each of us bring our unique talents to the table and through our shared passion for clay and community beautiful things will emerge. 

We have already started planting the seeds of the growth we see possible for Mango in a Pot. As seasonal beings, it just makes sense to start this spring-time that way. I know that come autumn our harvest will be bountiful and beautiful.

So keep an eye out! We’ll be sure to surprise and delight you with the direction we take this in. I am honored and joyful to share this grand art project with my two new business partners. Mango in a Pot is a living organism, and I know that it’s in good hands when it comes to Georgia and Dasha.
