Make your own set of ceramic Christmas ornaments to bring out year after year.

In this 2.5-hour handbuilding workshop, Alyona will guide you through creating a collection of ornaments from clay using simple slab-building and decorating techniques. You can make classic Christmas shapes or go in a completely different direction with bows, stars, houses, animals, food, little characters, or anything else you want hanging on your tree.

You’ll learn how to roll and shape the clay, add texture and details, and prepare each piece for hanging. Once your ornaments are formed, you’ll have time to decorate them using ceramic pigments and make each one completely your own.

You’ll be able to make several ornaments during the workshop, so you can create a matching set or make every piece different. They’re perfect for your own tree, as small handmade gifts, or as keepsakes to bring back every Christmas.

All materials are included, and your finished ornaments will be fired and ready to pick up in 3–4 weeks.
